I'm attempting to bake gingerbread muffins tomorrow and would like to know if any one has any tips. I know certain recipes need extra this and that and would appreciate tips if any. Thank-you so much in advance

here are the ings:
sugar/butter/eggs/molasses/salt/flour/bs/cinn/ginger/cloves/hot water.
I'm not sure what to look for in the consistency and such. That's what I'm asking. Is there any tips to that? thank-you
