I need to ship 24 cupcakes in the regular plastic cupcake holders(like the ones they sell at the grocery store with cupcakes in them) Does anyone have advice on how to do this? I know Georgetown Cupcakes sends them with frosting but i'd be too scared the cupcakes would not get to the destination in one piece. I was going to send the frosting in separate containers.

I live in Portland, OR and have shipped cupcakes several times to my daughters - one lives in Alaska and one lives in San Diego.

This is what I do: I frost the cupcakes and then freeze them. Once they are frozen I put them in individual baggies and let them sit in the freezer a little longer. I then put the cupcakes in the baggies in the boxes and make sure they can't move around by adding tissue. I then package the box in a priority mail box and ship them right away.

They have arrived in pretty good shape believe it or not. Hope this helps.
