Hi there I am a complete newbie so i have some basic questions if someone can help me.

I was told in this forum by a nice lady that i had to layer my cake with butter cream and the put it in the fridge for about an hour before putting the fondant on it.

That is my main problem right now i have tried soo many cake recipes but when i put the cake in the fridge it goes all hard like bread rock bread at that but if left outside it is so moist and soft. However for fondanting I have to put in in the fridge for at least an hour does any one have any confirmed recipe that will not go hard in the fridge pleaseeeee have a doll cake to make in 2 weeks any advise will be so much appreciated

thank you
