I've been asked to make a cake that looks like a can of spam. I'm not sure the best way to create the face of the can. Looking for someone who has done something similar. Should I use sugar sheets? Fondant? Edible writers? Please help! Thanks

Cool idea, I'd LOVE to get that order! I like to do everything by hand. So if it were me, I'd probably find a good large pic of a Spam label, and make a template to cut letters from, and probably figure out if I need to paint any parts of it, etc. Make the proper indentations where need be, the lips that cans have around the rims, all the things that make it "real". Have fun!
