Please can anyone help me I have been asked to make a fruit cake with marzipan and soft royal icing, no idea how to do soft royal icing, any tips or recipies would be really appriciated. Thanks

I believe soft royal icing has some glycerin mixed in so that it can be cut and not dry hard like regular royal icing. This website seems to have the type of royal icing recipe I've seen in English books: http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/recipex/msg1211171329219.html
