Just tell him that you never got it and you think the planner had it. He will hopefully be fine with that, it is the truth after all!

He may be reorganising the wedding as a surprise for the original bride, depending on why it was cancelled the first times it might be a grand gesture now that everything is fixed up again... or he is wierd and organising the same wedding again but to a different bride?!!

He mentioned he and his "wife" of the same name as previous. I did tell him that I don't remember keeping the topper, and he said "ok, thank you" but that's all I know. He did ask if I'm available for a meeting to "go over" the contract. Which is null and void by now, so we'll need a new one.
