I have a bride that wants a 4 tier cake with roses in between each tier, giving the illusion that the tiers are floating. I wanted to know the best way to execute this, because this is my first wedding cake. If any one know of any tutorials on this I would greatly appreciate it.

This is the cake she wants.

The link isn't available at this time, but you use styrofoam dummies as spacers.

If you're using SPS, you use the 5" legs plus 1, 2" extension, creating 3" of airspace between the tiers. Then you just stick the flowers into the airspace. Easy.

Thanks for the reply. Leah_s do you suggest that I use a SPS that is the exact same size as the cake or should I go an inch or 2 smaller. Also should I also use the styrofoam dummy in between the tiers also or just stick the flowers in there by themselves. Thanks I'm a newbie to cake decorating and I want to try to learn as much as possible.
