A friend of mine asked for 24 camo cupcakes for this afternoon for her son (going away with his dad and I thought buddies), and a small camo cake for Sunday (family party).

I made 24 cupcakes yesterday and decorated today. I was already nervous about the frosting, because it was a frosting I had saved in the freezer and it seemed a little unstable (it was a p.s. based recipe, but that also incorporated cooked sugar).

I just talked to the dad and he says there are only going to be 8 people today, so they definitely won't need 24! I said maybe she [his wife] wanted some for Sunday? Anyway, now I have to keep 12 and I don't know how they will keep until Sunday! I usually like to decorate as last minute as possible!
