Opinions Wanted! Need Help With The Top Tier!

Hi, planning a cake for my good friend, its going to be a combination of these ideas ( thanks CCers for the inspirations!)
Bottom tier: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2184189 same colors, but with the ruffles going down, not point up
Middle tier: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2199053 same as the second to the top tier, white, fantasy flower instead of the bow in shades of teal, using the ribbon idea, probably also in shades of teal,
Top: I was going to use this idea: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2194620, the half dome with fondant flowers, also in white,
Here is my question- does the style of the dome, clash the style of the ruffles on the cake? Any better ideas to do for the top? TIA
I would cover it with a smaller version of the same fantasy flower you are putting on the second tier. Maybe brush the tips with the same teal color? HTH!
Ooh, I like that idea of brushed tips!! Cool! I love how the dome looks though, do you think it will clash styles?
First off, thanks! That's my cake. Lol
And I don't think it will clash as long as you watch the proportions. I wouldn't thake that 1/2 ball & put it on the top of that big bow but if you down sized the fantasy flower some it would still be the main focal point & the top would be an accent. I think it will go.
Oh sebrina- thats hysterical! I didnt notice Well thank you so much for your inspiration! I would be thrilled if mine came out as beautiful as yours!
Have you ever seen fantasy flowers that small that I could cover the dome with fantasy flowers instead of daisies?
Maybe something like the first layer of these flowers? http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2154250 do you think that would work?
I haven't actually seen them as small as the flowers I used. But I would think you could make them as small as you want. I probably would only use two instead of the three layers on the flower though. To get them in tight, three might close in completely.
Your very welcome! Regardless of what you decide, be sure to let me know when you post your pic.
