Michelle Foster's Fondant-How Can I Fix It.

I made Michelle Foster's fondant and let it set for 24 hours. I started to use it the next day and it is really hard. I thought that i made it right, but i might have put a little to much powdered sugar. Is there a way to fix the batch of fondant I already made or do I need to start from scratch? Thanks for any help.
