Hi ya,
Ive loved cake making at home so ive taken a beginners basic couse at college. im getting on rather well (im more creative than a baker!) i need to make a cake over a 2 week period to should the skills ive learnt therfore the cake needs to be frozen. i am wondering can i freeze a sponge cake and fondant icing as i dont want all that effort to be wasted!

Cake should be fine frozen...wrap in plastic then foil and place in a paper bag if freezing for a length of time. I don't think I would risk freezing the fondant though.
