Hi everyone, I'm new to the board so I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
I am in need of a stand mixer and after several weeks of research I have it narrowed to the DLX and Bosch. I'm am wondering if anyone here has any experience with either of these?
I am looking for a mixer that can handle both bread dough and cake batter, frosting, etc. A specific question I have about the DLX is if you can, with success, mix a single cake mix or batch of frosting in the stainless bowl with the roller/scrapper attachment. I understand it comes with a smaller plastic bowl but would not feel comfortable using that to make anything that requires the addition of hot syrup.
I am also wondering how well the whisks do mixing up batters on the DLX.
For both I guess my main question is how well they mix smaller sized batters?
