When i coat my cakeballs with choc. They do not come out smooth, it looks like it's just clumped on there. Can anyone please give me some tips or tell me what i am doing wrong? Thank You Eva

Hi Eva, I have the wilton chocolate melting little pot that you can buy at Michaels and it will keep your chocolate warm, so that it doesn't get to thick. Also after you dip your cakeball into the chocolate I take the stick that the cakeball is attached to and tap it and swirl it on the side of the pot to get all of the excess chocolate off. I hope this helps! Good Luck

"Clumping" may be an indication that your chocolate is too thick. Even using the Wilton pot, some chocolates don't melt well; if that is the case, try adding a couple tsps of shortening in addition to what the previous poster said.
