Good Morning! I'm working on a his and her box themed birthday party cakes for this weekend. I was going to make the lids out of foam core wrapped in Fondant. What is the best way to attach them to the cake?

I've done this before, and the best way seems to be to insert two or three bamboo skewers into the lid so that the ends stick out on the side where you want to attach them to the cake. Use the longest skewers you can find so that they go way into the lid and can go way into the cake, too, so you'll have enough support. HTH!
