Can I put a buttercream transfer on the top of a cake that has been iced with whipped cream?

nat969: I personally have no idea if this would work or not, but I am very interested to find what the others say about it. I love learning all the new stuff on here that I learn.

Oh yes you can! I frost only with Pastry Pride and I've done it plenty of times. FYI Pastry Pride is a non dairy whipped topping but I've done it on real whipped cream too. Check out my photos if you wish. The Super Mario, thanksgiving turkey, Sour patch kids, stork and other cakes have the buttercream transfer on them. And they won't melt or anything. Go for it!!

Not trying to hijack the thread but doramoren62, have you used Pastry Pride and put fondant on it, covered cake with fondant or placed fondant cut outs??
