Anyone have a great filling recipe for Pink Champagne cake that they are willing to share?
Most people use a Bavarian creme, Raspberry or coconut filling. If you want an actual champagne flavored filling you could either substitute champagne for the liquid in your butter cream or make a mousse using two cups whipping cream one small box instant vanilla pudding and champagne flavoring. Whip until peaks form. I purchase the flavoring at my local cake supply store.
I usually use sherry in my custard.
