Can I Ice A Cake With Fondant Nite Before?

As above can i do this?
Im makin my lil girls christening cake and i really want to cover it the nite before as i have sandwiches n stuff to make the day of the event!
I have a cake and 60 cupcakes to cover!
Can anyone help as this is my 1st time using fondant!

Absolutley! I've made cakes, iced them and covered in fondant 3-4 days ahead of scheduled event. The cake was still nice and moist, very fresh tasting. Best of luck to you. =)

100% yes! I ice a couple of days in advance for things like wedding cakes as I let them dry before stacking icon_smile.gif
