I previously saw a recipe for salty caramel buttercream that called for melting caramel and letting it cool then adding it into the mix, does anyone have this recipe? I've searched everywhere with no luck! Thanks!!

I dont have that recipe but I make caramel buttercream by using caramel coffee creamer and then add a little popcorn salt to my buttercream until its balanced.. coffee mate has a yummy vanilla caramel coffee creamer.. HTH

I make jodieF caramel recipe from this site and add this to my smbc or any buttercream. Her recipe is so delicious and easy to make. I have been looking for the recipe you are talking about.
