I am doing a cake with ballet slippers on top and I can't find a 3D mold. Any suggestions on how to make some without use of a mold would ne very appreciated. Step ny step instructions would be great!! Thanks in advance!

Do you need pointe shoes or just slippers?

I made pointe shoes and I just used a sewing pattern I found on line to make them. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but not impossible.

I did a cake with pointe shoes on top and I actually just molded them by hand. Didn't take too long but you do have to work with the fondant a little to get any creases out. I just rolled the fondant into a log the length I wanted the shoe to be then I used my thumb to make an indentation where the hole for your foot is. From then I just worked with it and started making the hole bigger and shaping it into the form of the shoe. I will try to attach a picture.
