I was asked to make a Red Velvet and Lemon Cake with Cream Cheese Buttercream. For 25 People for a Baby Shower, I was Thinking of making a 6 and 8. Make The sneaker as a Topper. How much, I need to charge?
Please and Thank you
Well that all depends on a lot of things. lol
Do you normally not sell your cakes? The first thing you need to do is figure out all of your costs.
This would include...
ingredients, supplies (cake boards, supports, box, etc.), cost of utilities used, licensing and insurance, rent (if any) etc.
It's hard to just tell you what you should charge when I have no idea what your costs are to make that cake and how much profit you want to make.
I personally would charge between $4-$5 a serving for that cake and I have it as 30 to 32 servings. Than I would charge extra for the gp shoes on top...probably $15 to $20 just for that.
