Hello,
Does anyone know how to stick cookies on the sides of a cake? I've seen this at onetoughcookienyc.com. She sticks sugar cookies on the sides of the cake and it appears like there is no stick, maybe just royal icing? I can't imagine doing this without my cookie slidding off. icon_sad.gif
Has anyone tried this?

Thanks,

Alma

I have used royal icing and it worked great.

I did a copy of the buttercream covered cake with madeleine cookies attached with a dab of buttercream around each tier and they stayed in place with no problem. I suppose success depends on how heavy your cookies are and whether they attach to butter cream or fondant.
