This may be a silly question, but if I were to make a cake and just frost with buttercream, how would I attach fondant polka dots to it? If this won't work, I can cover it all with fondant, but figured I'd ask first. Thanks!

Brush a little water on the back of your fondant dots.

Can you use regular vanilla Icing on a fondant cake instead of Butter cream?

So basically the same way you would attach fondant decorations to a fondant cake? Thanks!
