I am making a cake for a friends daughter, who will be turning 17. She is planning on being a nurse and attending ISU. I need ideas on how to incorporate that into her birthday cake. I still want it to be fun and girly but also include her future goals. I cant figure out how to make it cohesive. Any ideas?
(It will be a 9 inch round).
Thanks!

Hi,
How about a round cake covered in pink fondant (for the girly) and then round the sides could be decorated with girly things like makeup (lipsticks, compacts etc) or jewellery (rings, necklaces etc) and then the top of the cake could have the nurse things on it, so things like a nurse's hat, a nurses fob warch, a stethoscope etc.

Or

You could just have the nurse equipment, but make them pink! so a pink stethoscope, a pink fob watch, a light pink nurses hat.

hope this helps, good luck! thumbs_up.gif

What about an open purse. Inside are the normal things such as lipstick, along side a syringe! A cell phone, and a stethoscope. Sunglasses and rubber gloves...you get the idea.
