A friend at work wants me to make this cake for her boyfriend's birthday. It will be a 9x13. What would you charge??

I was thinking maybe $50, but not sure if that was way too cheap or way too expensive??
that looks like it would take forever with all of those details. i would go at least $50, but up to $100 or more depending on your costs.
That should serve about 20 people. You should charge by the slice plus your hourly fees plus cost of your supplies.
It totally depends on your ingredients/materials. Are you going to make it multilayered, or just a 9x12 quarter sheet? Will it be a specialty flavor using pricey ingredients like fancy chocolate or liqueur? Do you need to buy fondant, colors, etc.? Keep in mind the cake board and box. How long do you think it will take you and decide how much your time is worth to you.
