I am making a cake like this one http://cakecentral.com/gallery/1983250
except i could not get a hexagon cake pan. What could i use for the fish tank?
I have a square pan i could cut corners off of? Or just keep it square,i have an small oval pan instead of beside each other on top of each other?I have a rectangle pan too. I don't know what would look nice and i think i'm trying to hard to find a solution that i'm stuck.Any help please would be nice.

Hi,
Looking at the cake on the link I think a round cake has been used for the actual fish bowl, it also looks as if they have made 2 round cakes and stuck them together, side by side.

I think you could use any shape cake for it, you can get rectangle and square fish tanks and round fish bowls.

If you wanted to make a big 3d fish bowl you could make a bunch of round cakes, stack them, and carved a 3d fish bowl shape instead of the 2d looking bowl.

hope this helps! Good Luck! thumbs_up.gif
