Fondant With Air Bubbles..

I know that the fondant needs something (moist) to adhere to. Recently, I've had two cake tiers that had large bubbles after being covered for an hour or so. Do you know what would cause this? Or have any suggestions? It has happened with Satin Ice and Wilton fondant brands.
