I just had to post this, because I've literally just spent a good 20 hours working out my pricing as well as the cutting guides for every single cake I do, this way every single venue and client will know exactly how to cut the cake to get the precise number of servings!!! woop woop!
That was no mean feat, it was soul destroying but I made it. I decided that even though I live in the UK that I was going to do it the most sensible way and that is the way you guys in the states do it - by the slice. I don't have different prices for wedding cakes and celebration cakes, the base price for both is exactly the same. It just makes it so much more simple. People will know exactly what they are getting for their money!
Anyway, hip hip hooray to me! lol
