In the past when coloring store bought fondant the color has darkened over time. Now when using mmf the color always seems to fade. With the last few cakes it didn't matter that much, now I need a dandelion yellow and the bride really wants to make sure it is a warm yellow color.

What coloring works best for mmf and any suggestions for a good dandelion yellow?

I always use americolor. You can find it at hobby lobby. All of the cakes in my gallery were made with americolor and MMF.

Thanks

I notice a fade in about a day and more the longer it sits. If it is wrapped tight the color stays. It is when it hits air that it starts fading.

I went to HL today and found the americolor. Thanks

Yes, Americolor doesn't seem to fade. Wilton seems to really fade fast.
