Need A Little With Making A Shot Glass Birthday Cake

im trying to make a shot glass birthday cake for my hubby.anyone got any great iders? please help

I would carve that cake out of 3 or 4 stacked 8 or 9 inch circle pans, depending on size you want. I would use butter-cream to stack them with in between it firms up better. Crumb coat it and freeze it for a few hours. Take it back out and carve the shape of the glass out to what you want. I would use a real shot glass as my photo for accuracy. Cake carves great when its frozen, I use a long bread knife it works great. After your shape is carved crumb coat it and decorate.
