im trying to make a shot glass birthday cake for my hubby.anyone got any great iders? please help
I would carve that cake out of 3 or 4 stacked 8 or 9 inch circle pans, depending on size you want. I would use butter-cream to stack them with in between it firms up better. Crumb coat it and freeze it for a few hours. Take it back out and carve the shape of the glass out to what you want. I would use a real shot glass as my photo for accuracy. Cake carves great when its frozen, I use a long bread knife it works great. After your shape is carved crumb coat it and decorate.
or you can do cupcakes with real shots of alcohol!

These are my Margarita Cupcakes. I serve them with
shots of tequila.
