I am going to make a cake with a rkt figure. How long can you make this ahead of time before you need to use it? Can I make it 2 weeks ahead of time? What I am making is a bathtub for a cake topper. Once I have the shape for the tub should I use gum paste to cover it or fondant? Also I wanted to thank everyone that has responded to all of my posts. Everyone have a wonderful and blessed day.

You can make it pretty far in advance. Just make sure to tell them not it eat it! I used fondant to cover my rkt.

If you look in my pics the cardboard box on my toy story cake is rkt covered in fondant and it sat for about 2 weeks
