Can't seem to find gold sugar pearls? Anyone tried just dry-dusting with gold lustre dust? Does it work?
TIA

i've made gold pearls from large tapioca. put gold powder in a ziploc baggie with a little vodka and toss in the tapioca. then just toss around and dump out on a paper towel and pat dry.

Phat Cat Cake Craft in Penticton, BC carries gold dragees. Call the store 250-492-4920 to check out the size etc. (if dragees would work).

You can buy them in another colour then put them in a bit of water til the colour comes off. You then sprinkle some gold lustre dust or whatever powder colour you have over them.
