I am doing a smaller cake topper creel for a grooms cake in a couple days and I have been looking at others pictures and have never tried this basket weave technique before. I was looking for some types or maybe and easy way to do it??? HELP?Thanks!

Here is a great picture I would like it to look similar to.

IMHO the basket weave is not near as difficult to execute as it looks. I actually taught myself to do it. I've not yet done this particular type; but it looks like they used the larger writing tip rather than the usual #48 basketweave tip. You should give it a go and you may be surprised at how easy it isicon_smile.gif
Here's a youtube tutorial:

Oh, once you see it, you'll be amazed at how simple it is. It's an optical illusion. For a creel I'd do the vertical ribs with a #10 round and the horizontal parts with the rigged side of the usual basketweave tip.
