Hiya, just need some opinions. Im have my mom over for dinner on saturday and i want to do a cake to test out my sugar flowers. I am doin roses. I dont know whether to do a large cupcake (i have the mold)an have the flowers running down. or just a single covered tier cake an have the flowers looking draped over??
I have been making soooo many cakes this weekend, that my brain has frozen for better looking ideas icon_cry.gif lol
Thanks

I would go with the normal layer cake idea.
I have the large cupcake mold, too and it's very ungainly and hard to frost. All the ridges in the bottom part are just annoying. I'm thinking of selling it, or maybe even giving it to a local rummage sale.

well i tried the silicone mold last night, and now i remember why i never buy silicone!!! It was awful. the bottoms remained soft, and getting it out of the pans is just bloody hard work.. I made a layer citrus cake in the end an covered it with lemon buttercream xx
