I am down to my last bow for this huge cake, the tier it goes on is 6 inches high and concave(hour glass)shaped. I am gum arabic user but I thought since this is a large bow I will use royal icing... well the two other bow broke and I do not know how to get this to stay on.. I love barbecue skewers but they didn't help ,it's heavy. I am on my way to micheals to see if I can find wire ribbon to match.

If you have any guidance, prayers, or a hit with a blunt object it would be appreciated.

Not sure how heavy you are saying it is, but I usually find melted chocolate to be a stronger glue than royal icing.

Ditto- that's what I would use (or just candy melts)

Do you think the candy melts would hold up in warm weather outside?

No, that I would be concerned about - it melts pretty quick. If it's just to transport, it will be fine - if the cake is going to be sitting outside, then no.
