I've been posting a bit in the Cake Decorating Biz forum, but figured I would come down here and introduce myself.
My name is Sara and I'm a stay-at-home mom to two girls, 3 and 5. Once upon a time I was an art teacher, and now my artistic outlet is CAKE. I live outside of Atlanta. I'm also a mommy blogger over at saraplayshouse . com. Hoping to get my cake blog up and running in the next few weeks.
Anyway, I've been poring through the forums the last few weeks and hope to jump in a lot more soon!

Hi, Sara! My name's Marianna and I've just retired from an academic position and I'll be opening a cake business in beautiful, downtown Cancún! I don't know how many of my "intellectual" friends I've had to convince that cake decorating is an art form and that this is my medium. Not all of them are buying it, but too bad - I love it and it's almost all I want to do lately (besides play with my grandkids!).
