My 1St Tierd Cake... What Exactly Do I Need? Help

I'm making a 2 tiers cake, never made one before. I don't have time to order stackable plates so whatever is at michaels will have to do. can anyone please help me out as to what i'll need.

Cake boards and dowels. It seems scary if this is your first time, but it's not that bad. It's when you get to the 5-6 tier cakes when it's more difficult.

Thanks, I think I'll do fine. This is also my 1st time making the fondant... I'm sick of buying it. lol

In my tiered cakes I use dowel rods or even bubble tea straws work great too.
