Hello all

I have been asked to make a toy box cake which will be pretty big. I have had previous bad experience when covering tall cakes - the fondant/sugarpast has torn due to the weight of it coming down the sides.

Do you think it would it be better to cover each side of the toy box with seperate panels?

Seems more like a job for Duff Goldman than little me - I do love a challenge but perhaps I should sit this one out icon_redface.gif

I personally would cover in panels.

Panels.

You could also do something like this, that will allow to cut smaller panels and apply.
