Hi, I need some help please... I need to make mini round cakes, and I need a dense red velvet cake cake mix because they are going to be cover in Fondant... can you help me?...

I am using a cake mix but if you have any suggestion from scratch, I am open to the suggestion.

I use chef stef's recipe, but i cut the oil down to 1 cup instead of 1 1/2 c.

That recipe that Chef_Stef submitted is Cakeman Raven's top rated recipe that has been around for years... word for word.
