If so do you like them and how do you stabilize them with dowels? Also what do you put in the gap to keep the cake from falling down on the next tier? Thanks I just can't visualize this.

bumping this up, cause I'm curious.

Global Sugar art has them on sale.

I'm not too sure what you mean by a gap between layers, they are meant to lay at an angle to each layer, not straight, so there is no gap. And you would stabilize just like you do any stacked cake.

I'm just wondering if it is easier to bake in the pan rather than carving them.
