I made cake for a 2 tier 3 layer cake, but have not yet frosted it. I wanted to frost it tomorrow, but was wondering what I do with the cake til then. Should I leave it out uncovered? Or...should I refrigerate it? If I refrigerate it, should I cover the layers in saran wrap? Please let me know what the best way to handle this is. Thank you.

If it is a non-perishable filling, just wrap in saran and let it sit out.

Thank you!! I haven't filled it or frosted them yet so I'll just wrap them once completely cool. icon_smile.gif

I freeze my cakes after cooling and wrapping. They seem to set up better, stay moist and it's a lot easier to crumb coat a frozen cake.
