I know this is a weird request, but one of my teachers from school asked me to replicate this cake of Lady Gaga.

Most of it looks pretty simple... I think instead of doing the lace I am going to use brush embroidery but I don't know how to get the dripping blood effect... any ideas on how to do this?

I have used this recipe which worked great on fondant!
1 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
# 2 cups sugar
# 1/2 cup water
# 1/2 teaspoon food coloring

# Cook and stir corn syrup, sugar and water in saucepan over medium heat to dissolve sugar, then cook, without stirring, to 300 degrees F or until small amount of mixture separates into hard, brittle threads in very cold water.
# Cool for one minute, then stir in food coloring.

I waited until it started to cool then i poured a sample onto a piece of "scrap" fondant. it cools pretty quickly once it hits a cooler surface.
Hope this works for you!

I have always used light karo mixed with cocoa and red food coloring. It ends up perfectly blood red and tastes like chocolate!
