So much for doing much of anything for a while. My dads bday cake will have to wait. My brother and SILs baby shower cake is a no go. Sigh.

I was washing dishes last night and sliced my thumb. I probably should have gotten stitches but I didn't.

I can't roll fondant or pipe or anything that requires any skill of any kind with my right hand. And I'm right handed. I am so bummed.

I'm sorry that you cut your thumb, bummer. I hope that you do go see a doctor and perhaps you will still be able to get stitches as it will heal together quicker. That way you won't be too long away from making your cakes. Best wishes and speedy recovery.
