Ok so a guy at my hubby's work asked if I could make a 3 milk cake for his brother. He knows I do this as a hobby and love challenges. Well this is definately a challenge.

I am using the box recipe with 8.9stars here and I added filling but how do I end up putting it on a cardboard with icing? I tried moving my trial cake (thank goodness I made one) and it broke apart! So any tips or ideas how to do this? Also I have never made whipped topping before but I am going to try it. Any easy good recipes? I would love to be able to make it for him but I know I really need help on the HOW TO!

Most aren't layered for that reason, I believe. When I make my layered tres leches, I pour my milk on the cake layers as soon as they come out of the oven. After they are cooled, wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate for a few hours before assembly. It is very delicate, but well worth it. Hope this helped. Good luck!
