I am making a brobee cake (Greenish monster from Yogabagabba)Can I use the swiss meringue buttercream to pipe the fur all over him or would it be better to use the crisco/butter? it's for a party on the 23rd April.

You can use SMBC/IMBC, but use small amounts at a time because it melts quicker from the heat of your hands. I'd use no more than say a cup and just keep refilling the bag as needed. It will certainly be the best tasting option! I don't know what kind of green the character is, but if he's quite dark use oil candy colouring to colour the MBC or it will bead.

Thanks a bunch icon_biggrin.gif U're right it taste great that's Y I soooo want to do the SMBC......Will it keep the furry shape though?
