i have a large cake i have to make for my friend tomorrow. its going to take 4-5 box mixes to make it. I need to bake and decorate it by tomorrow night.

can i make all the batters tonight and store then in containers with lids in the fridge and bake them tomorrow morning? I cant stay up late enough to bake them all tonight as I only have 1 pan

Of course you can do that. But depends what ingredients you used. But in the fridge I think it'll not be a problem.

i use both scratch mixes and box mixes. i did put a box mix in the fridge for a couple of hours and it turned out different than the mix that was cooked right away. it didnt taste different but looked different and didnt rise the same way
