How Long In Advance Can I Make Buttercream?

Of course it will be in the fridge, because I'll use all butter.
Can I make it a week ahead?

What are your other ingredients? If it is just powdered sugar, as long as the butter.

If it is Italian Meringue Buttercream, it will last in fridge for 2 weeks, in the freezer indefinitely.
