I am looking for a recipe for a buttercream that is almost like a whipped cream. Very light and not very sweet. I have a request for a white cake with fresh strawberries and I think this type of frosting would be best. I have gone through many recipes on here and don't seem to be finding what I think is the right one. If anyone has a recipe like this please post it or if you know of a previous post about this subject please let me know. Thanks!!

For cakes of this type. I take cool whip and powdered sugar and mix them together. It makes a light and just sweet enough frosting. Great for traditonal cakes, but not for decorating.

I have used Dream Whip mixed with a flavor of Instant Pudding mix in the past. I haven't used it and tried to get a smooth look yet, but I got rave reviews when I made it in the past.

Thanks everyone for the recipe ideas and the link. I think I have some great ideas and should be able to come up with something.
