Can anyone tell me how far in advance I can make the fondant balls for a border and how should I store them? I am making a cake saturday for sunday but dont want to leave everything for last minute. Thanks

You can make those months ahead of time and once they're dry you can store them in any covered container or a zip lock bag.

If you don't mind the pearls being rather firm, you can make them as far in advance as you want! icon_smile.gif

I make them, place them on a tray to allow them to dry.
Just store them in an airtight container.

To pearl dust them, I put the dust in a zip-lock baggie-add pearls-and shake. Remove dusted pearls to a container until ready to use. Keep baggie for later use. icon_smile.gif
