Wasc Amazing Chocolate Cake Help

I hope this is not a silly question but I'm uncertain. I would like to make this cake today but I am unclear about the 1 TBSP of instant coffee. It says to dissolve in room temperature water but not how much water? Would it be part of the 2 2/3 c. water the recipe calls for or in addition to it. I'm not a coffee drinker and not sure if I should just start from a cup of made coffee and use the 1 TBSP or dissolve 1 TBSP of granules in a water but how much?

I would think it would part of the 2 2/3 cup, but you can always PM/email the originator of the recipe and find out.
