I am not a pro. Nor do I tell anyone I am, but I am doing a wedding cake (crazy I know). Its my best friends little sister. She loves this cake and wants the same look. Gold and all.

What food coloring should I use to pipe on fondant? (she wants fondant) I dont want it to bleed. Are there better choices then others?

How do I get the gold?

Also, Should I use butter cream? Or Royal? Thanks for any suggestions on this cake.

Here is the website for the inspired cake.

Pipe with royal icing, let it dry then paint it gold using a combof gold dust with vodka or everclear. I do it all the time.
